Hello Gorgeous Mommas!

We have some exciting news for you ladies! We are so excited to announce the launch of our Active Trucker line! This has been something that has been in the works for a while now. Kyla, our Founder, has a goal is to employ moms who want to stay at home with their kids but also provide for their family. With over 25 employee's and growing, most of our Moms have come from a group called Stroller Strides. It felt very natural to incorporate our Active Trucker line since most of our Strides Moms and kids are already rocking our hats. It’s kindof like a mom uniform. ;)  We are so excited for this new avenue and we hope you love all the new designs coming your way! Here is a peak at some of the new hats!


We have also teamed up with FIT4MOM to give you ladies some fun workout tips! We hope that you find this useful and inspired to get out there and get ACTIVE!


3 Quick Workout Tips for Moms on the Go
  1. Plan ahead: clothes, snacks, distractions for kids, stroller in car, diaper bag ready.  Anything you can do ahead of time will set you up for success.  You’re more likely to get out the door if you don’t have a dozen hold-ups in the morning.
  2. Multitask: kid-friendly workouts such as Stroller Strides are a time-, resource-, and energy-saver.  Stroller fitness, baby-wearing workouts, or mommy and me fit groups allow you to get your workout in while spending quality time with your child.
  3. Make the most of your workout time: alternating complementary forms of fitness maximizes your overall benefit, so switch it up!  Don’t complete the same workout every day; alternate higher intensity with more intentional formats such as pilates or barre, or with a hike or long run.
How to stay in shape with your little ones: Make YOU a priority.  Make the choice to devote a small amount of time each day to your well-being, and commit to that.  Allow for imperfect, incomplete, distracted workouts (because they will happen) but keep at it anyway. You are getting benefits beyond the calorie burn, even if your workouts are interrupted.   Involve your children in your fitness routine whenever possible.  Whether that means bringing them along to a kid-friendly workout, doing yoga together in your living room, or going for a run with them biking alongside.
How to start instilling healthy habits: make wellness the norm in your family.  If fitness and good nutrition are routine for you, they will become so for your kids.  They are always watching- if they see mommy sweating and smiling, they’ll form the same positive association with working out.  Engage with them in physical activity and healthy eating habits; they want to be and do like you, so lead by example.
